Jul 1887 in the Methodist parsonage in Mt Ayr to Alamando Wilcox ELLIOTT
born 11 May 1865 in Avon, Fulton Co, IL. His parents were Rev. Sherburn
Alamando and Louisa Marie [Mark] ELLIOTT. `Al’ came to Iowa at the age of
three. His father was a pioneer Methodist circuit rider in southeast Iowa and
family moved frequently until moving to Rice Twp in 1871 to farm. His
grandfather, Rev. William F. Mark, was also a pioneer Methodist circuit rider
also serving in Illinois and Iowa with his last charge in Redding, Ringgold Co, IA.
After marriage, Emma and `Al’ settled on farm purchased in 1890 from his
father in Rice Twp where they lived until they moved to Mt Ayr in 1915. They
purchased in 1907 an additional 40 acres on the west side of this initial 80 acre
farm. This farm was rented to their oldest son, Mark, in 1915 and they retired
to Mt Ayr. They sold this farm in 1934 to this son. Their home in Mt. Ayr was
located at the present site if the Clearview Care Home for senior citizens.
Emma was the first resident of this fine center. They were active members of
the Methodist Church, having joined at Eureka east of Delphos, IA. `Al’ at five
feet eleven inches towered over his five-foot three-inch father. He detested the
name `Alamando’ and much preferred his friends to call him `Al’ or `A.W.’ He is
remembered for his fine sense of humor and cheerful disposition, always seeing
the bright side of everything. He enjoyed quoting poetry – generally ending by
giving credit to an author that may or may not have existed. He chewed
tobacco, always ‘saucered’ his coffee, and said `grace’ before every meal. The
`carom board’ was always readily available when the grandchildren arrived for
overnight stays. Alice, felt she gave these for nothing. The railroad
bordered the north edge of their lots with a trestle bridge crossing the street
bordering them on the east. They owned one automobile purchased new – a
1928 Whippet. Emma did the driving as `Al’s eyesight was very poor, having
lost an eye at the age of nine when a boyhood friend accidentally struck him
with an axe while watching him chop wood. Their house had a well located in
the east porch and a cave just east between house and garage. East of the
garage was the commonly referred to `two holer’ with that adjacent to a low
ceiling hen house with both covered with grape vines. They kept about a dozen
Rhode Island Red hens that produced very few eggs. She always had a jar full
of thick sugar cookies that really weren’t very good but she was a tremendous
grandma! They both enjoyed gardening and had many peach trees. Children of

Been and applied behavior, and engineering scientist, and over a half century followed in dad’s footsteps as a genealogists.
Though it took about two decades, dad as a watershed planning engineer, and I working as a mining engineer plans could easily be a couple of decades or more. Noted, that similar to the Salem Witch Trials symbolic in the hangings, and the black listing of Jewish play writes when I was young that silence was used. Noted, that people could be kicked off of blogs, so I changed the model.
Created at first elwald.com, then gorrenberry.com, and was helping on clan crozier, it being dismissed from Wikipedia created clancrozier.com. Felt if I owned and operated dotcoms, I would not be silenced from them. Noted that image sharing was incorporated into many blogs, and decide to create images with embedded text to be shared.
Being kicked off of Wikitree, and Wikipedia for lying, I felt the need to share documentation a standard for scientists and genealogists, which people could share. Noted, that those which hung witches, and silenced Jewish play writes did not leave much documentation, but felt their position took care of it.
Genealogy, the person of the family knows the most about the family. Someone of ‘position’, referring to someone as lying about their family is as anti-to genetic science as those judges which hung witches in Salem, and those of the government which black listed Jewish play writes as communists.
Since the internet has been fed with documentation on my families genealogy with supportive DNA, it is only a matter of time for the witch hangers to realize that they a speaking against viable documentation integrating various from of measurements with correlation, and family genealogical sharing to establish an enlarge family tree, which shows that nation-state ideologies though in macro-grouping may have some application, but in the micro grouping of individualizing individuals in the family tree to be relative useless accepting maybe for corporate profits, but not for family finding.
Though try to do my best like the engineering scientist which study the material of O-rings, for the Challenger Shuttle. This time utilizing the science of an engineer can use recommendation, but no one will die. Hopefully the people of the family and from their respective families will be the ones which are highly credited, and the ones which refer to these as liars will be discredited. Especially if they hold a doctorate degree.
This is dedicated to the religious pioneers in genealogy, which migration through the United Kingdom utilizing the Brigham UK surname as an example, as symbolized by the Brigham pioneers of 1847 immigrating down Immigration Canyon into the valley of The Great Salt Lake. How family members are being successful at family history;
- The family knows best.
- Listen to others, especially of the opposite sex, to make family.
- Do not in a family search, get rid of the in-laws (Xs), though you may want to.
- Families fight, and likely not just one answer is correct, in the history.
- If the family’s history is done properly one does not get to pick their ancestors.
Though, in 1965, I could remember visiting Salem, Massachusetts, and sites of the trials, as my father presented the concept of many great testifying at in the trials, with no interest sustained in what, Loren Spencer Elliott, had to say.
Sometimes it with accurate documentation, people who feel they are of authority, will interpret out of the utmost accuracy, that the testimony is a lie. In genealogy, this creates a lie out of what is accurately portrayed. With genealogy this seems to create a block. With the high authorities of the Salem Trials this created nineteen innocent hangings with one being crushed.
The approach of integrating DNA into genealogical research is needed to be proper.
Before the Family History Library was built in Salt Lake City, Utah, had been utilizing it for genealogical research to assist dad. It was something father and son could share at the time.
In a period of learning genealogy, it seems like people being paid to do research for others in the upper levels of the Church of Later Day Saint’s Business Offices, took an interested because they knew my approach was that of a hobbyist, and historian for my family, where I was assisting father in research.
It should be noted that research was being done on the Franklin family.
We did donate research to the Family History Center, Mesa, AZ.
Note William Jesse Elliott is not in the 37 marker test, so the others are. Horton name excluded, six of the above are matched to 9 of the below. So three at the 37 marker match do not match me exactly for the first twelve markers. (10/4/2019 MSE). About one out of three. The three which gave marker placement in Ireland, Ray E. Elliott, does not show an exact twelve marker match.
Herbert Hoover Horton, NPE, likely of Daniel’s older brother’s branch Robert Elliot, out of Great Island, Portsmouth, NH-Kittery, ME region, migrated later seventeenth century to near Charleston, SC, to establish the Baptist in the southern states. (added 10/3/2019 MSE).

In Rose Hill Cemetery, Mt. Ayr, Iowa, are the stones of William Comfort Elliott, AW Elliott, Emma Onna Rush Elliott, Ilah Melinda Spencer Elliott, shared with husband Mark (no middle name) Elliott. The oldest stone in the Elliott plot is that of; Louisa Marie Mark Elliott (added 9/30/2019 MSE).
Doris Emaline Elliott, Ilah’s first child died in 1920, before photo was taken, also in the Elliott plot (added 9/30/2019 MSE).

Steve Rush, We have this thing more than half solved. Imaging a Rush from East Anglia, living in Australia, utilizing DNA, and going after one of the top genealogical problems of the day. Where is William Rush from in England, and today we can say it’s not Wales, and is most likely Suffolk, East Anglia. Still feel that the Rush of Anglia, and the Rusch of southern Denmark-northern Germany are of the same group. The spelling is felt not to travel, but the word pronunciation of “rush” travel over, then came into the written language, in Anglia, spelled Rush(e), in Denmark-Germany spelled Rusch.

One can triangulate off an angel in Temple Square, or survey land in Utah from the Base and Meridian off the southeast corner of Temple Square, they can also find their family history through records maintained at the Family History Library FHL on the west side of Temple Square, and West Temple.
When someone thinks they can find their family by DNA only, and not using DNA as a tool, it is like doing triangulation off an angel, and putting your answers to the nearest hundredth of a foot, like the ones you can get off of Base and Meridian, or using the FTDNA TIP calculator, dependent on your families years a generation and really believing you can get an answer to the nearest hundredth of a percent.
Scientists, mathematicians, and engineers do error corrections. To not correct errors makes the the scientific, mathematical, and engineering aspect of results extremely useless, unless you have a regimented society, which want to maintain a status quo historical falsehood, as with many dictators in the historical pass, then this would give proper reason for FTDNA not to correct their mathematical scientific falsehoods.
This gives good reason why The Church of Latter Day Saints, for genealogical purposes in their web link https://www.familysearch.org/ only incorporates autosomal DNA, from five reliable sources FTDNA being one of them, but, where in at least a couple of them properly put the genealogy before the DNA, which is putting the horse ahead of the carriage instead of behind it.
